Ever wonder how Buddies Burgers came to be?

It's a simple story about two friends and a dream. These two friends are Mickey Mance and Robert Gregorio and they have been "Buddies" since they were 5-years-old. They boys have always been great friendsand teammates, playing baseball and football together all the way through high school.

Then it came time for college and both boys decided to attend San Diego State University where Robert played football for the Aztecs and studied Political Science, and Mickey studied Economics.

Whie attending SDSU one day, the boys wanted a good hamburger. They looked around for one but none could be found.The idea for opening a hamburger place was born. During their junior year of college, an opportunity was presented to the boys that could not be passed up. With the support of their family and friends, Mickey and Robert became teammates again opening the doors to Buddies Burgers.

Buddies Burgers was born on March 21, 2011 with its always fresh, made-to-order, deliciously juicy hamburgers – right in the SDSU colege area!

Going to school and becoming young business owners may not have been easy, but they did it! Since graduating from SDSU in 2012, Mickey and Robert continue to work hard and live out their dream. Here's to living the dream!
